How should I apologise?

Okay I was at a formal and I took a friend of mine who I actually quiet like and I wanted to make a good impression on her. Too bad I got drunk and I think I may have acted like a **** but to be honest I don't remember, but she seemed to avoid me on the dance floor :/ by the way she doesn't drink. How should I apologise? please help, Thanks :)
