Why am I embarrassed? Girls Only.?

because you are afraid to make eye contact because you are afraid people will think you're a loser or something. i think a lot of people have this problem. i for one always make eye contact with people, guys or girls (i'm a girl btw) but there was a time when i just couldn't do it because i was shy. just do it. when i finally started doing it, i had got my first job. i worked at Rita's Italian Ice and i had to make eye contact with my boss during the interview and i had to make eye contact with my co workers and especially with customers. i worked there for a month, two week training period, plus two weeks. i was replaced by someone who didn't need extra training on the cash register, but i could tell my boss REALLY hated letting me go because i was so nice to him, my co workers and especially the customers. it really boosted my self esteem, even though i got replaced after a month. i haven't gotten a job since (mainly because i've been too lazy to look for one lol) but since then i've really been able to talk to people, including strangers, and make eye contact with anyone. i could even talk to this cute cashier that works at the grocery store if i got the chance. you're a couple years too young to get a job (you have to be at least 14 in some places, 16 in others) but maybe play a sport or do an activity where you have to make eye contact with other people. it might help.
