I get annoyed when people get the same things as me, and they brag about it and I don't?

Its simple. You don't want others to get more recognition than you, when you could be getting that same recognition. If you want it, then express that you have the items. If you don't want to be the kind of person that brags about things, then you need to work on what bothers you when people get recognized, and you don't. It definitely seems like your insecure in that area, and its something that you should address, or you will always be annoyed.
